Cabin Fever leads to GP38-2 Fever

by Todd Brown - 04/04/04

After not having visited Portage to watch the trains run since last fall, I was overdue for a visit this past weekend. Although things can be hit-or-miss regarding just how much I see on any day, the past two weekends have been especially busy. There have always been a good sampling of GP38-2s whenever I visit Portage, but there were a noticeable amount present this past weekend which still retained the the post-maroon paint schemes. Other GP38-2s not in their original SOO paint were also present, but wearing one of the various CP paint schemes. The images on this page are a sampling of what I've seen the past two weekends.
