John Proebsting Brass Locomotives to be Auctioned by the SLTHS.

With the sad passing of former SLHTS John Proebsting last December, the Society and the model railroad community lost a great advocate of their hobby. John possessed a great passion for model railroading, complimented by integrity and pride in his modeling endeavors. These traits, and a strong attention to detail are evident in several brass steam locomotives that John's family has left with the SLHTS.

The SLHTS is currently arranging for these locomotives to be sold via mail auction with the proceeds going to his surviving family. Watch for a formal announcement in the next edition of "the SOO". (Winter 2004).
