NFDL Photo Diary - March 2, 2003

by Todd Brown

A visit to the very frozen tundra North Fond du Lac, WI on March 2 produced some nice photographs, but some icy fingers too. Several coal trains were seen headed south throughout the day, with WC and NS power on the point. CN units led the mixed freights. Illinois Central power was also seen. The day may have been dangerously cold, but the fresh snow made it incredibly beautiful. The day ended with a beautiful sunset at 5:30pm CDT.
